    P.I. Tour?

I think it would be nice to see where I will eventually be living for 3 months. I know Parris Island gives tours, but is there a specific time when they do? I know they're training the majority of the time and wouldn't spectators get in the way? A list of tour times would be helpful.

Just go to the gate, sign in, and drive around until you get bored. The base is VERY small so there really ain't much for a civilian to do there. You go on a Friday you might get to see a graduation. Make sure to yield to any recruits or Marines marching by.

Won't be the same as the tour you'll get while you're there for boot camp.

At the ripe old age of 14 I don't understand your obsession of visiting a place where you MAY or MAY NOT even go to Boot Camp but the advise you have been given is good, you can visit anytime, just obey all Base rules and laws and above all the speed limits. Oh and there are ristricted areas as well, so you have to honor those or be esorted off the base.

Your parents' tax dollars pay for it, so I guess you're entitled...?

You can take a tour anytime you want. It's leaving afterwards that's a real *****.
